I use the DISC profile and Emotional Intelligence assessments to increases one’s ability to make sound decisions, build and sustain collaborative relationships, deal effectively with stress, and cope to a greater degree with constant change.

How does DISC training work?
DISC training helps participants build more effective and productive relationships at work. Teams learn the value that each individual brings to the workplace.. Workshop participants develop a new understanding of themselves and others using DISC. Workshops include:
- Up to twelve DISC profiles
- Interactive presentation on the four basic behavioral styles
- Explanation on how to use the DISC profile to improve communication and teamwork
- Uncover and share unique strengths in individual team members
- Teambuilding exercises

After completing the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the 4 basic personality/communication styles of themselves and others

What is a Teambuilding Workshop with Emotional Intelligence Assessments?
Research has proven that high emotional intelligence increases one’s ability to make sound decisions, build and sustain collaborative relationships, deal effectively with stress, and cope to a greater degree with constant change. High emotional intelligence enables an individual not only to perform well in the workplace, but also in accomplishing various other goals and objectives in his or her life.
How Does Emotional Intelligence Help Managers?
EI is also essential to conflict management in the workplace, which involves having the ability to help others through tense situations, tactfully bringing disagreements into the open, and defining solutions that everyone can support. Leaders who take time to understand different perspectives work toward establishing a middle ground in disagreements. By paying attention to how others respond to one another, you can try to help people feel heard, which in turn, will help them be more willing to compromise.
Why is Emotional Intelligence Important in the Workplace?
High emotional intelligence in the workplace begins from the inside out with each individual. It involves recognizing various aspects of your feelings and emotions and taking the time to work on the elements of self-awareness, self-regulation, social recognition, and social management. Among all the positive traits effective leaders bring to the workplace, research has revealed an attribute that is more reliable in predicting overall success than our intelligence quotient (IQ is our emotional intelligence (EIQ) which is defined as the capacity to recognize and effectively manage personal emotions in ourselves and in others.
Teams built with high EIQ measures are likely to be the most effective! While it isn’t always easy to collaborate with different people, if we can learn to use our EIQ skills, we can look at problems and find solutions in ways we couldn’t from the same pattern of thought. By understanding ourselves and others, we can use EIQ to heighten personal performance, empower relationships, and direct teamwork in a more results-oriented manner, while striving to ensure everyone on the team gets what they need to be successful and satisfied.
